I’m a professional with 20 years of management and marketing experience in industries such as: retail, real estate, logistics, transportation, IT, document management and franchising. In the last 7 years, I have been consulting entrepreneurs from 40 countries, on how to successfully start-up and build their franchise business in their local markets. Throughout my career I had the privilege of working closely with many international companies and cultures, bringing along a strong intercultural experience and know-how.
To complement my practical experience in working with cultures, I graduated from a Master Programme at the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest in “Intercultural Negotiation”. Then I continued studying Management and Project Management in the U.K. at Open University, and finished my Executive MBA at HEC Lausanne in Switzerland in 2017, a program rated as no. 70 worldwide.
I now live and work in Switzerland since 8 years, previously working and/or studying in Germany, Italy U.K. and Romania.
I am a long-life learner and this is also my no. 1 value. Learning means widening my universe and challenging myself to be a bit better than yesterday, something that is very important to me. This is how I discovered coaching and after it has dramatically changed my life, teaching me how to ask better questions and listen to what people have to say with all my senses, I decided to become a coach myself to “pay it forward”. Besides my love for coaching, I am on a mission to raise the awareness concerning burnout in women, currently working on my first book on this topic.
Coaching style and philosophy
The best thing about being a coach is seeing results in as little as 1 hour with a client. Coaching is fulfilling my desire to help others succeed and give back a little from what I am and what I have learned so far personally and professionally. With coaching I am also constantly challenged to improve, learn and be present. Also I have noticed that since I’m applying coaching techniques with my team I’m a much better colleague and my sales results are better than before.
My coaching style is a mix of hard and soft skills. I am using my experience and education as a basis but also my curiosity, empathy and intuition to mirror or verbalise what I notice about my customers during the coaching session. Creating a relationship with my customer and seeing them succeed is my biggest accomplishment.
